To turn the eggs that a hen is incubating, you can gently lift the hen off the nest and carefully turn each egg by 180 degrees. This should be done at least two to three times a day to ensure that the developing embryos inside the eggs receive even heat distribution and do not stick to the shell. It's important to be gentle and quick when turning the eggs to minimize any disturbance to the hen and the developing embryos. **

It is possible that the budgerigar has laid an egg but is not incubating it. Budgerigars may lay eggs even if they have not mated with a male bird. If the budgerigar is not showing signs of nesting behavior, such as sitting on the egg or building a nest, it is likely that she is not incubating the egg. In this case, it is important to monitor the situation and provide appropriate care for the bird and the egg. **

This could be due to a variety of reasons such as the bird being too young or inexperienced to understand the need to incubate the egg, or the egg being infertile. It is important to monitor the situation closely and provide the bird with a suitable nesting area and proper nutrition to ensure its well-being. If the behavior persists, it may be necessary to consult a veterinarian for further guidance. **

If your goose is laying eggs but not incubating them, you can try to encourage the goose to sit on the eggs by providing a comfortable and secluded nesting area. You can also try to mimic the conditions of a nest by using fake eggs or golf balls to encourage the goose to sit on the eggs. Additionally, you can try to limit disturbances around the nesting area to help the goose feel more secure and willing to incubate the eggs. If these methods do not work, you may need to seek advice from a veterinarian or experienced poultry keeper to determine the best course of action. **
